  • With 115mm x 61mm x 113mm, our industrial splice box is by far smaller than comparable 19''solutions.
  • Its inner values are really convincing as well so that the installation is quite simple and done very fast. FIMP is ready for splicing and contains splice tray, couplings, pigtails and cable gland. Regarding different couplings, you can choose from SMA, ST, SC, LC, SC-RJ, FC-PC and E-2000. The front panel and the splice cassette can be removed for splicing and since the cassette is magnetic, it can easily be fixed onto a splice unit. The cassette has got a whole for splice units with a bolt.
  • The powder coated stainless steel housing is also magnetic so that the splice box can easily be affixed to another housing or to a switch cabinet in case of no different tray. Furthermore, FIMP has got a clip for DIN rail mounting (35mm) and a kit for wall fastening. Thus, there are space-saving and flexible solutions for mounting our FIMP.

  • The hybrid splice box combines the two different "worlds" data transmission via fiber optics and data transmission via copper cables in one compact unit. With this box you ensure a fast and safe data transmission across long distances via fiber optics for indoor and outdoor applications and via copper cables.
  • In contrast to classic hybrid plugs, our hybrid splice box has a lot of advantages: During service you will be able to replace cables quickly and specifically even in areas which are difficult to access. Apart from that, a mechanical decoupling is guaranteed. Furthermore, data of the RJ45 interface can directly be picked up, whereas the fiber optics can generally be wired. Thus, in contrast to hybrid cables, the transmission paths are not limited to the copper transmission lengths due to their physical characteristics.
  • Moreover, we offer one version of this hybrid splice box with SC-RJ coupling that allows combining Multimode, Singlemode and POF in one single plug. This makes it possible to be very flexible in choosing the right fiber type. The front panel can be outfitted with up to four RJ45 click & snap modules or with two smart hole modules. Therefore, you can also use this box as an industrial RJ45 patchfield.
  • The FIMP product line is suitable wherever machines, controls or similar decentralized systems have to be connected via fiber optics and/or hybrid cables.

  • Compared to the quartz fiber optic, the polymer plastic fiber has got a very big core diameter of 1mm.
  • In spite of the high transmission loss of 0,15db per fiber meter, the eks systems couple a sufficient quantity of light to bridge transmission paths of up to 150m. The easy handling of the POF cable and its competitive price compared to glass fiber allow the efficient use for short distances in control engineering, measuring, computer engineering and in switchboard construction.

  • Fiber optic cables have a core diameter between 9µm and 200µm which are useful to connect devices over long distances.
  • The costs, however, are higher due to ready-made modules and higher system-costs.

  • The eks splice box is a very flexible tool with multiple special features. The blinds are interchangeable and available in metal or aluminum in 1RU or 2RU with 12, 24 and 48 ST as well as 6, 12 and 24 SC-duplex.
  • Removable screw joints make it possible to install the splice cassette with the spliced cables subsequently.
  • The installation of small and large cassettes is possible as well as the insertion of duplex cables for breakout wiring. There are no loose screws if the top cover is opened and the use of angles for angular cable insertion is optional.
  • The blends and connectors are numbered; the fibers are marked with different colors. Low installation depth with just 23cm. 2RU with 12xFDDI, 48xST and 24xSC duplex are also available.
